Tree Debris Haul-Away in Tuscaloosa, AL

The storm passed two weeks ago and the brush pile is still taller than the mailbox. The city pickup won't take limbs over a certain size, won't touch the pine rounds, and definitely won't come up the driveway. That's when you call us — we load, chip, and haul tree debris by the truckload, usually the same day you call.

What We Haul

• Storm brush and limb piles. The aftermath of Alabama thunderstorms — snapped pine tops, oak limbs, whole sections of canopy. If it's tree debris, it goes.
• Logs and rounds. Cut firewood-length pieces or storm-fallen trunks too heavy to move. We handle the loading — you don't touch a thing.
• DIY project leftovers. You felled the tree yourself (respect), but now there's a 12-foot brush pile and a log stack staring at you. Haul-away is the other half of that job.
• Yard-waste overflow. When your regular service won't take it or the city limits are too tight for a storm-season cleanup.
• Stumps and root balls. When grinding isn't the right answer, we extract and haul.
• Contractor and landscaper loads. We partner with local crews who need a chip-and-haul partner on bigger jobs.

How the Service Works

Text us photos. For most debris jobs, a few wide shots with something for scale (a truck, a rake, a person) lets us quote accurately without a site visit. We price by truckload volume — our standard dump-bed and chipper combos hold roughly 12–15 cubic yards of loose brush, which sounds abstract until you learn it's about the size of a one-car garage.

We show up, you point. The crew loads everything by hand and machine, chips the brush on site (the chipper turns 30 minutes of dragging limbs into one tidy pile of mulch), and sweeps up before leaving. Same-day service is common on non-emergency jobs booked before noon; next morning is the norm otherwise.

Want to keep the chips? Say so — free mulch is one of the perks of tree work in Tuscaloosa. Oak and pine chips are excellent for paths, beds, and erosion spots. Otherwise we haul everything to an appropriate green-waste facility.

After the Storm: What to Expect

After a significant weather event affecting Tuscaloosa County, debris demand spikes and everyone with a trailer is suddenly in business. A few honest notes: we triage emergencies first (trees on structures, blocked access) before non-emergency haul-away, and during county-wide events our schedule fills days out. Book early, and be skeptical of anyone knocking on your door after a storm quoting cash-only pricing on the spot — the fly-by-night debris scams that follow Alabama storms are a real thing, and an uninsured operator dropping a log on your sewer line turns a cleanup into a claim against your own policy.

Pricing

Debris haul-away in the Tuscaloosa area typically runs $150–$400 per truckload depending on volume, how far we carry from the pile, and whether logs are included (logs add weight and time). Most single-family storm cleanups are 1–3 loads. Quotes from photos are firm — the number we text is the number you pay.
